Hi Richard,

Thanks for the invite. My name is Ethel, and I am the Records Manager for the Legal department with the USTA. I joined the RMU because although I am adept at handling contracts as they relate to records management, I have a lot to learn about records management overall. I have enjoyed the RMU classes thus far and can’t wait to see what I will learn in this new forum.

Hi all,

I’m Amber and while I’ve been doing records at my company for several years now, we don’t have a formalized program. I look forward to all the new things I learn each session. They really help me as we’re developing our plan.

Thanks!

Hi All,

I’m Randy a 30+ year Corporate and Global RIM/IG veteran who learned early on to never stop learning. Of course it may be the only thing I’ve ever learned. If something here helps to put a new nail in another coffin, great and I will try to hand out a few.

Hi All,

My name is Tara and I’m the Records Administrator (Officer)/Public Records Officer for an electric utility. We have had a program in place for 13 years; however, our training budget has been significantly limited, so I try to attend any sessions such as these to stay abreast of current trends and issues. I find RMU to be very beneficial and timely with the topics it covers.

Looking forward to being part of this group!

Hello-- my name is Alissa Batts. I’ve been working with document and records management programs since I was 16! I’m currently the Manager of Records Management in a unique, highly regulated and litigious industry. When I am able to join, I enjoy the classes and they prompt discussions with my team and co-workers.

Thanks for the opportunity to exchange thoughts and knowledge outside of the sessions!

Hey! I am Julie and I have worked for a large financial institution for the last 17 years. All of this time has been spent in records management, in some form or fashion. We have a formal and mature program for physical records but struggle with managing electronic records. I enjoy sharing knowledge and hearing how other programs operate.
